Over three years ago, a U.S. based competitor from New Zealand began manufacturing versions of our patented holsters overseas and importing them to the U.S. via Alibaba to sell, undermining not just our business, but the very principles of US manufacturing and intellectual property rights. Since then, we have been locked in a relentless legal battle for patent infringement—one that has dragged on for more than three years and cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees. Every dollar spent fighting this battle is money that could have gone back into our team, our products, and our community.
