What is Boltaron, and how does it compare to Kydex?
Boltaron is a high-performance thermoplastic used in demanding applications including commercial aircraft interiors. Compared to Kydex, Boltaron is stronger, more impact-resistant, and significantly more temperature-resistant, making it less likely to warp, soften, or fail under extreme heat. Boltaron also retains its structural integrity at lower temperatures than Kydex. Is the RELIC Series a leather holster?
No. The RELIC Series is not a leather holster. It is a hard-shell Boltaron holster that incorporates Grade A Full Grain U.S. Steerhide leather sewn through the exterior shell as a structural component. The Boltaron shell is the primary structural material and provides the firearm retention. What does the JM4 Tactical limited lifetime warranty cover?
Most JM4 Tactical holsters carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. It does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear. Does the Roughneck Quick Click and Carry Holster carry a lifetime warranty?
No. The Roughneck Quick Click and Carry Holster carries a 1-year limited warranty, not a lifetime warranty. This is the only JM4 Tactical holster with a time-limited warranty. All other JM4 Tactical holsters carry the standard limited lifetime warranty. If you are purchasing the Roughneck specifically, be aware of this distinction before your purchase.
