I am a LEO and have been searching for the "right" Inside the Waistband (IWB) holster for some time. I have rocked a pancake holster for several years but the gun was able to be seen through a shirt. It was great except the gunboat into your side and was visible if you knew what you were looking for. About 6 months ago I decided to try the G2 Urban Carry Holster. It boats a deep concealment and the videos really show just how "easy" it is to retrieve your firearm at a moments notice. I may be about 10lbs overweight but I could never draw the firearm without having to pull my pants away form my body, using two hands, loosening belt, etc. I was very disappointed.
The Large Long 2 Roughneck is quite satisfying and comfortable. You will of course have a little discomfort here and there (I mean you are wearing a gun). The holster shaped nicely to my Sig 229, the guide to sizing the gun was super easy to use as well. It leaves the butt of the firearm partially exposed over your was it band, which I love. I have practiced drawing it from the one o'clock and the standard hip side carry. Both were great. The magnetic retention is EXTREME. Drawing the gun out actually requires a bit of pull, and for those of us who worry about people just taking a firearm, you will appreciate it.
